Once you reach level 50 the action-RPG Blizzard's shifts from its streamlined campaign to the final game. This is when things really start to change, with players forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds that ensure their class build is as robust as it can be.

Glyphs are a major key to this process. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph increases its stat attributes and radius of effect on the Paragon Board. There are a variety of methods to obtain these upgrades, however most players will rely on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.

Glyphs allows you to add symbols to your text. You can select from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs that are based on the font that your cursor is currently located. You can change the font or typestyle, and narrow the list to only include punctuation symbols using the option under Entire Font. When you move your cursor over a glyph, you can view its CID/GID as well as Unicode value in a tooltip.

The Glyphs Panel will keep track of your most recent 35 glyphs, and display them under Recently Used in the first row (you need to expand the panel to ensure you can see all 35). You can also remove a glyph from this list by pressing it using the right-click option or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.

The Glyphs Panel also allows you to design a custom set of glyphs, which is useful if often require typing certain types of text. This will save you from having to manually insert every glyph whenever you require it.

A custom glyph set can contain up to 31 glyphs that include both the base name and its suffix. The glyphs used in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) as well as lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The suffix may include ligatures or contextual alternatives. These are special variants that combine two or more letters into one glyph.

Reroll Tokens

Upgrades are the main mechanic that offers benefits on items, including additional stats. They come in types: rerolls or level up, as well as recycle. Each type provides a different set of extra bonuses on an item.

Reroll Tokens can be used to change the item's base stats and upgrade number. They can also be used to reroll substats of rings. This is useful when an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than what the player's expectations or if its current substats are not ideal.

Rerolling an item is costing 1 token. It resets the upgrades, but keep the rarity, set, and level unaffected. As an item is progressively leveled up, its tier rises. The primary stat of the item is increased by 3 points for each level. A random extra stat will be increased along with it. The tier of an item increases by 1 each time you level an item to the maximum achievable level.

The Blueprint Desk allows players to buy new Appliances, Ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They can be opened with the Grab. Each blueprint comes with a distinct icon, and each category of upgradable item displaying different icons:

Certain recipes require certain ingredients or appliances, and these are available by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Some Appliances and Inputs are staples, meaning that they won't be available in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a greater likelihood of appearing if a specific franchise card is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in the pool for the remainder of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.

Recycled Items

The magic happens with the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product made of recycled materials, you're not just helping the environment, but also giving the item a new life. Most recycled products are sent back to the original manufacturer to be remade as an entirely new item. This is referred to as "closing of the loop of recycling."

When a person puts something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorted. Then, it gets sold on to manufacturers who will re-make the item. Remade products include:

This process helps reduce the need to grow harvest or extract raw materials from the Earth to create something new. This reduces the damage done to nature; fewer trees are cut down and rivers are diverted and wild animals are forced to move. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumped substances into our water, soil and the air.

In addition Recycling products keep local businesses and jobs in business, particularly those that specialize in the production of goods made using recycled materials. This is due to the fact that demand for such products helps encourage companies to take part in this environmentally healthy effort.

The final reason to purchase recycled items is that they require less energy to produce new products from recycled materials than it does to make them out of raw materials. This is because the production process of making a new aluminum can takes 95 percent more energy than production of an identical aluminum can from recycled material. Every little bit is important.

Leveling

Most units can level up and gain XP each time they attack or are attacked. This is used to increase the primary stat of the unit, or unlock other upgrades on the unit's development tree. Weapons are a good example of this, since they can be leveled up by increasing their damage and range.

Most leveling systems require a certain amount of levels to be reached however this can vary from game to game. Leveling is achieved by spending either materials or coins. Most systems use both to increase an item's level, but certain systems only employ one or the other.

In many games, leveling can be an issue because it makes certain units too powerful while other units are unable compete. It is recommended to limit the amount of leveling that a player can achieve, and require players to make a decision on what they wish to upgrade and the reasons behind it.
