A Step-By'-Step Guide For Item Upgrading

A Step-By'-Step Guide For Item Upgrading

World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option allows players to boost the gear rating of an item by up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory, and then taking them to the kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For example the perfect rolled breakpoint armor used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade and aren't worth it.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit probability and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also come with an unchanging bonus that increases their damage per second. Additionally there are many weapons with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a single unit. In some cases this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon is able to upgrade by itself.

The cost of upgrading a weapon is based on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue rise until it requires a higher tier of Smithing Stones, at which point it will reset to one.

The upgrade of weapons can also change their base stats. While this is usually beneficial, it can have some negative consequences too. Upgrades can make things impossible to use, unless you are very lucky.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their effectiveness. This can increase the defense of a chest or helm as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor has a rerolling feature for its Enhanced Defense%. This means that it may reduce its value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, along with the values of these stats. This means that an upgrade from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword will result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. However the 3% difference doesn't mean that it will be hit 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button with circular arrows within the menu for items. This will roll the item and alter its stats but it won't reset the weapon's levels or bind to account status.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make the world of difference to your survival. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE improvements in the resistance to curses, poisons and fire as well as magic. This can make it easier to traverse difficult areas. In general, the greater defense your character has the more value you can get from every point of health you possess and it's crucial to improve your armor as often as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains within the game, and to unlock each fountain, you must complete an additional quest involving the Stable Trotters. After you've completed your main quest and the associated fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.

Each piece of armor can be upgraded up to three levels and the amount of materials and Rupees required for each level will differ. You'll need anywhere from three Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees to upgrade your first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. For example the Champion Leathers could be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep up with a large group of enemies in the majority of cold climates, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded to +20 defense, providing the protection needed to survive the full-on assault with a few friends.

You can't upgrade armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is best to focus on upgrading your armor to increase physical power or spell power. It's also worth saving your armor upgrades for the armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you use for the final boss fight as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

You can also get some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally speaking, you'll want to keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have a few upgrades of the chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are bottled substances that, when consumed give the player the illusion of status for a few minutes. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded, enhancing their level of effect. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a table or in an Alchemist's chest. However,  upgrade item  of upgrading changes depending on what type of potion you'd like to upgrade, and also on the item's Mark Level and rarity.

To upgrade a potion you need to right-click it in your inventory. Then, select "Upgrade" from the menu. This opens a GUI in which you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will yield when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they earn will be added to your current XP level.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not be degraded until you use it again, or break the bottle it's stored in. You can also rename the potion by clicking on it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the mechanics of potions. For example, splash potions now have a duration of 0:08 (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds shown on the hover display of the item). The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. This allows it to be utilized by players in Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions cannot be used in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the liquid and refills the bottle.

Finally, there are lingering potions, which are brewed with splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to extend their effects. The table of potion ingredients is now laid out more in line with the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as potion of leaping, decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket is a tiny and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It may be a reference to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose, but is not particularly important, such as a thimble. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons and armor, as well as potions. They can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate currency. In contrast to other upgrades for items trinkets are able to be swapped out at will without losing their stats.

The upgrade vendors can be found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available with tokens, gold or fragments of trinkets that are rare.

Upgrades are a cost-effective alternative to buying a brand new trinket. You can upgrade a trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl of the old one, and will have an additional upgrade bonus of 1.

Once the old Trinkets have become no longer usable, they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded among players, making them an alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This means that the top-in slot items for each class are first upgraded, followed by their secondary gear and finally other pieces of equipment that won't replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). Players should also take into consideration their class's preferred stats when choosing which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats for tank players and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.

After they've become unusable, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will destroy the trinket unless it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, but is still cheaper than buying an entirely new trinket.
