The process of upgrading an item, often called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment gives an increase in the linearity of the stats of a particular.

The addition of a glyph to an item may cause it to become unstable and the shards of that glyph will disappear from your inventory when you take it down. You can also add a glyph to your equipment to add a bonus. For example the glyph Deferred Damage can store damage for the wearer and then deal it out slowly instead of all at one time. This is beneficial for players who take a lot damage from enemies, but don't want to be overwhelmed.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to change the affixes of weapons and equipment. The developers aren't planning to offer paid rerolls in this stage of the game's development. Instead, they're planning to include an option to change the race in the future.
Leveling
